Kappa Beta Omega Chapter was chartered March 23, 1974 in Vallejo, California. Charter members are Earline Briggs, Dorothy Brown, Lydia Elliott, Patricia Fortman, Janice Foster, Carolyn Jackson, Marsha Lee, Grace Patterson, Marva Rogers, Geneva Watts, Carmel Webster, Nona Webster, Mildred Welch, Hazel Wilson, Johnetta Wilson, and A. Marie Young.
Kappa Beta Omega volunteers thousands of hours each year to address community needs through AKA programs and initiatives. The program theme for 2018-2022 is Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service. The International Program includes five program targets that are designed to advance the mission of Alpha Kappa Alpha with excellence and underscore our commitment to sustainable service: I.
